MR SWEET HAS WALKED THROUGH THE GATE AND CROSSED THE GREAT DIVIDE.

Thank all of you that have prayed for

bj's (SweetNothings) husband, Bill.

Sometimes we don't get the outcome
we want when we send up prayers.
We pray for a cure and hope against hope
that it will happen on Earth
so that our family unit can remain unbroken.

However, sometimes that cure
comes in a form
that we don't want to experience.

We all prayed for a healing for Bill
but that healing did not come--
at least not as we understand healing.

That being said,
I do believe that Bill is healed now.
He is beyond all earthly pain and sorrow
and while his journey has ended here,
the journey for bj and her children
and grandchildren to heal has just begun.

Please lift them up in prayer.
If you are not a pray-er,
please send them well-wishes
and kind thoughts.

The earth lost a good, gentle soul.
RIP, Mr.Sweet.
To the heavens and beyond!!

  4. Diana, I believe that, too. He is healed completely now. Unfortunately, BJ and her family will be feeling the pain of that loss for a very long time. I am so sorry and pray the Lord's hand upon them as they grieve for their beloved and find comfort in each other and the knowledge that he is safely home.

  5. I can look at this photo of Bill and see that his nickname of Mr. Sweet must be the one to suit him.

  15. Tears for BJ and her beautiful family, but nothing but pure joy for Bill. He is safely home and BJ walked every step of that journey with him that she possibly could. I hope that my darling John was in the receiving line. John always called BJ his "Rain Gauge Girl" so I learned to call BJ and Bill the "Rain Gauge Texans" so John would recognize them.

Thank you for letting us know... Praying for comfort and peace for all...

  21. I'm sorry to hear that, I remember hearing not along ago he went into hospice care. My mom volunteered for that for years but I didn't realize how short of a time-span these people had once they went into care. She said she couldn't take the constant loss anymore, that's some brave people who stay for hospice volunteering.

  27. Many things I do not understand. Why does God heal some and not others? There is no answer, and yet I still trust Him. His ways are higher. And I think that if Mr. Sweet could send a message to us here on earth he would say "why do you cling so tightly to your earthly life . . . for to be with Jesus is far better." Prayers for his family and thankful for the blessed assurance of eternity in heaven for those who serve Him. Sending you a hug dear friend.

  29. I'm so very sorry to hear this but I'm sure his family do take comfort in the very thing you wrote about, Diana. It means the world to me that my own father is in his heavenly home, once again whole and well, and speaking with clarity, the voice that was so hard to understand the last 16 years of his life now singing praises.

Praying for BJ and her family,
    Dewena

  31. This is sad news, my heart goes out to bj . . . We have to remember that God's peace is waiting and that now her sweet husband is on another adventure in life . . . this is just a new beginning for him . . . no pain. He'll be watching down on his family and his sweet wife and one day they will be together in a better and glorious heavenly home. She is in my prayers.

  32. So sorry for her loss and for the families!! Life is so short and all the prayers did make a difference...
He is healed and will have no more pain, that is what we can have if we choose Jesus now, before the last day on this earth.
    Hugs, Roxy

  51. I just saw this earlier today after reading BJ's post, and my heart is so sad for her. I know they fought long and hard. I will be in prayer for BJ and her family. Another dear friend of mine lost her husband suddenly to cancer, he was gone within 2 weeks after being diagnosed! That c-word is just so hard.
